Opener for my first after effects project

The adrenaline junky fell through the avalanche with the sound of static in his ear.

Ba Baam!!! son

Pretty stoked about this one! This is the first scene for this project, I plan to have the crazy
kamikaze ball flying through the air next. I added some audio that I think is appropriate for the clip, wasn't to hard just drug it in from itunes and alined all my motion with the music. I had to tweak some photoshop files, the images had a couple stray brush-marks but other than that everything worked out pretty smooth so far. After effects is definitely easier to use than flash. Think I'm pretty happy about were this is going.

Here some different landscapes for the sentence. This the first time to mess with a landscapes proportions digitally, not to bad, need to learn the tools little bit more. Seems kind of simple but i don't want to be overwhelmed when i put it in after affects. There will be some text thats not shown in the pictures but it will be trailing behind the ball. Guess we'll see tomorrow in class. booya!

9/3

6.
My topic will interpret hardcore music and culture in a digital space, not only does it have its unique style but also makes a different perspective on the world. Our parents are scared of it, churches cry devil. It is the counter culture of our times. instead of visually representing the music i want eximane it's place in society. Why people are drawn to it and why does it floats their boat?

I've always loved thrill of hardcore music. I feel that all these crazy concerts are like a little release valve. Getting to sweat and bleed and just let the music kinda just trance you. Also was interested in if people go to these shows for the same reason. Maybe they like to just get drunk, either way it has always been one of my biggest kicks. My further exploration of this topic might change my views or may open more experiences.
